Update:

So, What did I talk about last.. hmmm...
Awww.... So we spent awhile in Washington. We went to a Pumpkin Patch and picked out Pumpkins and Carved them. We went to a mill where they make fresh pressed cider and MMMM was it good. We also got to drive to Forks, Washington :) Home of Twilight. We helped my niece Kaitlyn with her first high school color war (she was Orange). We did a lot of driving around, We got to see my Besty Katelyn :) Took the kids trick or treating with Katelyn :):). Went dancing, out to dinner... OH we went to this AWESOME place. Its called McMenamins Kennedy School -->Link http://www.mcmenamins.com/427-kennedy-school-home -- It was so Awesome Its a Hotel, Restaurant, Theater, and Bar. We watched Inception and had dinner with Nicki and Scott (Thanks guys for the awesome experience) I think that is the Washington trip in short...

We are now in California. My Aunt and Uncle took us into San Fransisco to see the sights, we went down to the pier and we also went to Ghirardelli Square. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe to lunch. Had HUGE burgers oh my word!! Our next little journey is from Martinez California (where we are now) to Kingman Arizona. We booked our hotel so we are all set to go its about a 9.5 hour drive. Our drive from Vancouver Washington to Here was about 10 hours and took us 12 with gas and lunch stops so i'm estimating about an 10.5-11 hour trip tomorrow. That will put us into Kingman at around 4-4:30. I'm not sure when I will have internet again so when I do I'll make sure to do another point.

Love you all!

A Little Behind...

So its been awhile since the last time I posted anything. I have a LOT to catch up on.
Are You Ready...?

Well the movers came on September 29th, 2010 and they moved EVERYTHING -- and I mean everything -- Cameron wasn't getting any sleep while they were there of course, he had no bed. Of course we had to have at least one person there at the house while the movers were there, so Justin decided to let me get out of the house for a couple minutes so Cameron could get a short nap in the car and so I could de-stress a little bit. I get half way through the living room, freeze in my steps and realize the shoes are gone... The Movers Have Packed My Shoes. I remember thinking to myself the night before "In the morning I need to put my shoes somewhere safe so they don't get packed". We had made the bathroom the safe room, everything we didn't want them to take so of course frantically I pull the bathroom APART thinking maybe I had unconsciously put them in there. Nope, no shoes. So I hang my head a little bit realizing its my fault and walk to Justin and tell him I have no shoes.. He laughs and asks if I could just wear his shoes. I just keep saying over and over again in disbelief "my shoes, my shoes... they took my SHOES!!!!!!" Shouldn't they like ask.. "Hey do you need any of these shoes?" But no.. they just threw them in a box!
ANYWAYS, I had to take Justin's shoes which are WAY to big and drive his already impossible to drive car across town. Luckily I have a WONDERFUL husband and he convinced the movers to let him dig through the box of shoes to find mine. Which he did and I have shoes.. but THEY TOOK MY SHOES!!

~AFTER THE MOVERS~
The days after the movers left was spent at a few different houses, basically feeling homeless. We stayed with the Braun's, Andreas's, and with my Dad. Justin spent the whole week at my dad's house doing out-processing so I rarely saw him. When he was home, time was spent eating mac and cheese, watching robin hood (new one) and Brave Heart. WHICH, by the way, I thought it was a good movie and has a great story and meaning but I got a little bit bored.. but don't tell Justin or my dad that..
We decided to ship Justin's car to Seattle so we had to drop it off at the shipping company at 9am on the 8th or October. We went to Denny's with my dad and then off to the airport by 10:30 am. We left Anchorage at 12:30pm, landed in Seattle at about 5ish pm, boarded the plane in Seattle at 5:45pm and landed in Portland at 6:30ish.
My Mom and Sister were the only ones that knew when we were going to get to Portland. All the kid-os thought we were getting there the next day so when we showed up they were BEYOND excited to see us.

~NOW-A-DAYS~
So for now, we are hanging out with my family in Vancouver, WA and just laying low. Not exactly sure what our plans are from here but when I do I'll let ya'll know. As for now, I'm starting to lose my train of thought so i'm going to go. Night night.

Sooo, things are happening.

Soo yay! Finally something is happening in the world of moving.
Well the ferry people said the earliest they could get us out would be October 19th, not soon enough. So it looks like we are shipping Justin's car to Seattle or wherever it goes to and the rest of us are flying to portland on october 9th (did you see I said the rest of as if the car is as important as us humans, ya I know the little skittle is family, like.... An annoying cousin that just won't leave lol anyways) the car gets there about a week after we do so until then I'll be high jacking family vehicles :). The movers come in like 6 days so ihave until them to do all of our laundry and get our personal stuff packed away.

I can't really think of anything else at the moment!
Ciao!

Are you serious right now?!

So I'm laying in bed last night thinking to myself "awesome, I don't have to work tomorrow so I can sleep in " I think somewhere along the way I forgot i have a seven month old.
6am comes to early.
"Waaaa waaaaaa mmmaaaammmaaammaaaa waaa scream"
Not to mention my sick husband.. Oh wait what's this.. Is my nose running? Someone please catch it while I tend to my screaming child.
"ok I'm coming... Hang oooonnnnnnnnn child. Where is your bottle????? HUNNY, wake up, where is camerons bottle? (scream, cry) he mumbled something." oh yeah I forgot... He's not the most helpful before coffee in the morning.. And in this case sick in bed.
I continue to tear the house apart.. Oh duh. He fell asleep on his floor with it.
Ah ha! Right where he/I left it. Thank goodness! (as I type this Justin in laying behind me grinding his teeth.. Soo not helping.) Ok. Bottle is made.. Back to bed. I'm barely asleep when "ding ding" my words with friends game on my phone goes off. Are you kidding?! Whose idea were these stupid phones anyways.. Oh right, mine. Is it safe to assume that I'm taking care of my sick/teething child and sick husband while I too am getting sick (thanks Hun) I think so. So, anyways. Needless to say it is now 0830, im wide awake while my family sleeps peacefully.

Day One: About Me

So, where to start.

Okay, so I'm Sarah. My husband, son, and I are getting ready to move in October so I thought I'd start a little blog for our family to follow the move ( hi family )!! Still in the process of going through all of our stuff and weeding out all the things that we really won't need and figuring out what we will need with us on the road. Not fun. At the same time we are both working and Cam is in daycare. It gets confusing. BUT we are excited to be moving and seeing family along the way. Anyhow, that's all for now. I'll more later :)
